Pork feast and chat about Bermuda mystery
HUSBANDS and wives gathered together for a club’s hog roast.
About 80 Probus Old Beaconsfield members and their wives and partners gathered in the grounds of The Fitzwilliams Centre, in Windsor End, Beaconsfield, for a hog roast.
There was also a talk by Captain William Wells about the Bermuda Triangle.
Chairman Terry Scott said: “Nobody in the audience had a magical answer to the many disappearances which were described.
“They did have an answer however to the hog roast, wine, dessert and coffee which followed.
“It was a warm, sunny day and there is no doubt that the assembled participants felt both lucky and happy with a further hog roast success.”
Probus Old Beaconsfield is a club for retired professional men who meet twice a month in The Fitzwilliams Centre, Beaconsfield, to hear speakers talk on a wide range of subjects.
