Four teach­ers en­joy first day at Heather­ton

FOUR new teach­ers have en­thu­si­as­ti­cally joined a school.

Ana Burne, head of French and Span­ish, Lisa Gib­bon, year four form teacher, Anne Hat­ton, head of mu­sic and Dawn Nolan, early years group leader, all joined Heather­ton House School, Cop­perkins Lane in Amer­sham this month.

Ana Burne said: “Hav­ing worked for Wat­ford Gram­mar School for Boys for 10 years, I’m re­ally look­ing for­ward to work­ing with younger girls, they are full of en­thu­si­asm and a joy to work with.”

Lisa Gib­bon said: “Hav­ing pre­vi­ously worked in a state school, I’m amazed at the di­verse range of ac­tiv­i­ties on of­fer for the girls at Heather­ton.

“I’m ex­cited to be part of the team and am look­ing for­ward to teach­ing in an en­vi­ron­ment that al­lows chil­dren to learn in cre­ative ways.”
