DAIRY TALE SUCCESS STORY
A FAMILY business is celebrating its 65th anniversary.
Tim’s Dairy, in Denham Lane, Chalfont St Peter, was founded in London in 1949 by Cypriot Euripedes Nicolaou – the uncle of the current owners – who was later joined by Michael Timotheou, their father.
The first production facility was in Riding House Street in London’s West End, but in 1960 it moved to Camden, before in 1996 Tim’s Dairy moved to its current home.
From there it produces a range of Greek-style yoghurts and creams, which are sold in a number of shops and supermarkets in the area.
Managing director Chris Timotheou said: “We are terrifically proud of our Greek heritage and our experience making authentic-tasting Greek-style yoghurts as part of our range.
“We have really enjoyed every minute of our time and feel justifiably proud of our role in the dairy industry.”
The business is marking the occasion by giving people chance of winning a smoothie maker in a prize draw.
