‘Everything went in our favour’
(Clockwise, from above) Jeffries Wattson is planning to get fit with his ‘new’ Bullworker; boxes full of books to pore over; Jackie Heather and Barbara Smithson wonder if they would look good in this T-shirt: a set of silver spoons on Deborah Campbell’s bric-a-brac stall PEOPLE on the hunt for bargains flocked to an annual giant sale.
The Gerrards Cross Jumble Sale was held on Friday and Saturday last week at the Memorial Centre.
A vast array of items included toys, hardware, books, clothing and crafts.
The event was organised by Gerrards Cross Community Association, with the help of a team of volunteers.
Suzie Bower, of the association, said: “It was fantastic. We had so many people coming along, and we had more jumble than ever before being donated.
“The weather was great, so that helped. Everything went in our favour really.”
