Music and mirth from Brummies

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - ON STAGE -

JASPER Carrott’s latest show, entitled Stand Up and Rock, does what it says on the tin. The veteran comedian regales his audience with his new stand-up routines before introducing fellow Brummies who have rocked audiences all over the world.

Bev Bevan, as well as being a friend of Jasper, has rock star credentials that most can only dream of, having played drums for ELO and The Move.

Also in the line-up are Trevor Burton, another member of The Move, the first band to be heard on Radio One, Geoff Turton of The Rockin’ Berries, and Joy Strachan-Brain, lead singer of Celtic rock band Quill.

This is a great opportunity to see and hear seasoned performers playing fantastic songs, and to see Jasper back where he belongs.

The show is at Wycombe Swan on Saturday, October 4 at 7.30pm.
