How long has the business been running and how did you get into it?
The Bazaar is new but Anatoliancrafts has been operating for the last seven years. I started by making my own crafts and selling them in the fairs and events before gradually adding more crafts and giftware products over time. What sets you apart from other similar shops? The products we sell are distinctive to Turkey which are very visual and both colourful and attractive which makes the shop environment warm and welcoming. What is your typical customer? There isn’t one. People of every age and background always seem to find
something in our shop to suit them. What do you think you give to the community? A shop that offers something different and alternative from the high street norm. Are you running any special offers? In October it will be our special oriental rug month, so there will be lots of attractive offers available on these products. We will also offering a local home service in which our customers try a selection of rugs in the homes of the customers on a non-obligatory basis. Why did you open up a shop in Chesham? I live in and work in Chesham, I love the place and the people, so opening a shop here was a natural thing to do.
