Our views need to be put across
MY SON is buried at the Garden of Rest in Chalfont St Peter. He died when he was 37, and his wish was to be buried in Chalfont St Peter.
He is in the only garden of rest there is in Chalfont St Peter. I do not agree with the ‘laid to lawn’ rule at all.
As much as the council says it is in the agreement, who is looking at the small print when burying a child? I think they need to take into account people’s frames of mind when they choose to have a family member buried there.
I don’t think the council was pointing out the ‘laid to lawn’ rules when families where handing over the money to have their loved ones buried.
Please help us get our views out there. Many thanks.
