Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - OPINION -

RESURFACING work has begun to repair damaged areas used for parking.

The work started on Wednesday last week on the north side of London End, Beaconsfield.

No road closures are scheduled but some parking areas on the common land will be closed to allow the repairs to take place.

Additional maintenance will be carried out on some of the tree grilles and guards.

South Bucks

District Council portfolio holder for environment, Nick Naylor, said: “This important resurfacing work will significantly improve these well-used parking areas for local residents and businesses.

“There will be some disruption and we ask people to please be patient while we carry out these works.

“However, the benefits should far outweigh this period of inconvenience.”

The work is expected to be completed within two weeks.
