FORMER pupils are trying to find about 40 of their old classmates to invite them to a school reunion.
Some Lowndes Girls’ School pupils from the year of 1975 have got together to organise a reunion planned for June 20 next year.
The girls would like as many pupils from that year as possible to attend.
They are still trying to contact about 40 former classmates, with a list of their names below.
One of the organisers Belinda Bruton said: “We’ve located many of them but are missing contact details for around 40 of them. We are hindered because they are probably married and using different names now. If anyone in Chesham knows of their whereabouts and can put them in contact with me that would be very helpful.”
The reunion has been organised for next year because it will 40 years since the girls were last at school together. Plans for the event are still being finalised.
The school, in Chartridge Lane, Chesham, closed in 1988, and is now Chiltern Hills Academy, which was formed by merging Lowndes Girls’ School and Cestreham Boys’ School.
