Fiona collects iPad prize
A WOMAN has won a handheld computer after winning a village competition.
Fiona Slater, of Albion Crescent, Chalfont St Peter, won the iPad mini in the competition run by Place Estate Agents at the village fayre Feast Day in June.
Her guess for the combined value of four houses sold by Place this year was the closest to the correct figure of £3,293,000.
Sarah Cassidy, owner of Place Estate Agents, said: “We’re delighted to give this prize to Fiona, whose children are over the moon with the prize.”
Miss Cassidy, 50, who has recovered from breast cancer, will also donate £200 to charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer for every new instruction to sell a property between now and November 15.
