Fiona col­lects iPad prize

A WOMAN has won a hand­held com­puter after win­ning a vil­lage com­pe­ti­tion.

Fiona Slater, of Al­bion Cres­cent, Chal­font St Peter, won the iPad mini in the com­pe­ti­tion run by Place Es­tate Agents at the vil­lage fayre Feast Day in June.

Her guess for the com­bined value of four houses sold by Place this year was the clos­est to the cor­rect fig­ure of £3,293,000.

Sarah Cas­sidy, owner of Place Es­tate Agents, said: “We’re de­lighted to give this prize to Fiona, whose chil­dren are over the moon with the prize.”

Miss Cas­sidy, 50, who has re­cov­ered from breast can­cer, will also do­nate £200 to char­ity Break­through Breast Can­cer for ev­ery new in­struc­tion to sell a prop­erty be­tween now and Novem­ber 15.
