Holly passes audition for coveted ballet role
Teenager to star as a solo dancer in Swan Lake
A YOUNGSTER from Denham will appear in a prestigious ballet next month.
Holly Williams, 16, of Ashcroft Drive, was selected at an audition in July to appear in an adaptation of Swan Lake.
The performance is being put on by the English Youth Ballet, and Holly, who is a pupil at Beaconsfield High School, is now in training for the show. She is dancing the

All of the young performers in the cast will be dancing alongside the principal ballerinas in the professional production.
It is hoped that they will gain an insight into what life is like as a professional ballet dancer.
The young cast are working with the professionals in an intensive rehearsal process, which involves practising a variety of different techniques taking in every aspect of the show.
Principal dancer Amy Drew paid tribute to the youngsters, saying: “The young dancers we are working with have great energy.
“Working in a professional environment gives the students a unique insight into life in a ballet company.
“They are so lucky. I wish that there had been something like the English Youth Ballet when I was training.
“I feel very privileged to be a principal with them as I get to work with some of the UK’s most talented young dancers. I find them incredibly inspiring.”
The show takes place at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking, on Friday, November 14 at 7.30pm and Saturday, November 15 at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.
