Rhyme and Reason returns
A DESK diary for 2015, packed with short stories and poems on the theme of remembrance, has gone on sale to raise money for the Rennie Grove Hospice Care charity.
This is the 24th year that Rhyme and Reason has been published.
To date, sales of the diaries and previous formats have brought in more than £55,000 for the charity, which provides end of life care at home for those suffering from life-limiting illnesses.
Jill Wallis, a volunteer who works for the charity, said: “Our contributors are mainly local but we also have entries from writers across Britain and from abroad.”
Contributions for the diary were chosen in the form of a competition that was judged by poet Claire Trevien and author Nick Wastnage.
Rhyme and Reason is sold in Rennie Grove shops, and can be ordered from the Rennie Grove website at www. renniegrove.org/ diary2015. It costs £5, plus postage and packaging if ordered from the website, and all proceeds go directly to Rennie Grove.
