Par­fait Amour takes cen­tre stage in this bit­ter­sweet cock­tail. The liqueur of­fers a sweet taste of Span­ish or­anges and orange blos­som, in­fused with vanilla and al­monds. It sits per­fectly with the botan­i­cals of gin and the sub­tle back­drop of sparkling soda wa­ter. This drink can be made with ei­ther crushed ice or sim­ply on the rocks. HIS­TORY: Par­fait Amour, or ‘Per­fect Love’, has been around for cen­turies, its in­gre­di­ents of rose petals and vanilla so of­ten as­so­ci­ated with ro­mance. Its en­tic­ing flavours, smooth tex­ture and rich colour makes this a must-have for any cock­tail enthusiast. METHOD­OL­OGY: Add one-and-a-half shots of gin, two shots of Par­fait Amour, one-and-a-half shots of ex­tra dry ver­mouth to a shaker tin with ice. Shake and strain into an ice-filled glass. Gar­nish with a le­mon twist.
