Pub takes note over music bid
A PUB has amended its plans to serve alcohol later and to play music after people objected.
The Stag pub, in Wexham Street, Stoke Poges, amended its licence application after listening to neighbours’ views.
They are now asking for half an hour more on Friday and Saturday, staying open to 1am.
The pub would be able to supply alcohol until 12.30am on Fridays and Saturdays, and play recorded music indoors for one and a half hours more on Monday to Thursday (until 12.30pm), and two hours (until 1am) on Friday and Saturday, and until 11.30pm on Sundays.
The application also asks for permission for live music but there are no plans to make it live music venue.
People would not be allowed to smoke immediately outside, and the outside play area could not be used after 9pm.
