Pub takes note over mu­sic bid

A PUB has amended its plans to serve al­co­hol later and to play mu­sic after peo­ple ob­jected.

The Stag pub, in Wex­ham Street, Stoke Po­ges, amended its li­cence ap­pli­ca­tion after lis­ten­ing to neigh­bours’ views.

They are now ask­ing for half an hour more on Fri­day and Satur­day, stay­ing open to 1am.

The pub would be able to sup­ply al­co­hol un­til 12.30am on Fri­days and Satur­days, and play recorded mu­sic in­doors for one and a half hours more on Mon­day to Thurs­day (un­til 12.30pm), and two hours (un­til 1am) on Fri­day and Satur­day, and un­til 11.30pm on Sun­days.

The ap­pli­ca­tion also asks for per­mis­sion for live mu­sic but there are no plans to make it live mu­sic venue.

Peo­ple would not be al­lowed to smoke im­me­di­ately out­side, and the out­side play area could not be used after 9pm.
