Have a flut­ter on raf­fle to boost hospice cash

PEO­PLE are be­ing urged to en­ter a fes­tive raf­fle that will help raise cash for lo­cal hos­pices.

The Hospice Lot­tery Part­ner­ship started in 1997 and has raised more than £6.5mil­lion for its six part­ner hos­pices, in­clud­ing Iain Ren­nie Hospice at Home (part of Ren­nie Grove Hospice Care), The Hospice of St Fran­cis, Florence Nightin­gale Hospice, in Ayles­bury, Grove House (part of Ren­nie Grove Hospice Care) in St Al­bans, Michael So­bell Hospice in North­wood and South Bucks Hospice in High Wy­combe.

It is hop­ing its Christ­mas Su­per­draw will match the suc­cess of its Sum­mer one.

Tick­ets went on sale last week with a 14 day fast re­sponse draw on Novem­ber 10 when ten lucky peo­ple also get the chance to win a £10 M&S voucher.

The draw takes place on Jan­uary 14.

There is a top prize of £5,000 with a sec­ond prize of a cham­pagne overnight stay at an Oak­mann Inn and Restau­rants ho­tel and a third prize of a gourmet meal at The Five Ar­rows Ho­tel.

Fast re­sponse draw tick­ets must be pur­chased by 12pm on Mon­day, Novem­ber 10. Tick­ets at £1 each are avail­able on­line at www.hos­picelot­tery.org.uk or call 01442 891 459.
