Shop needs short-term volunteer

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - NEWS -

PEOPLE are urged to help run a charity Christmas card shop.

For the past six years, the pop-up shop has been running from St Andrew’s Church in Packhorse Road, Gerrards Cross.

It is run entirely by volunteers, and all the money goes to various charities whose cards will be sold there.

The shop is run by the Cards for Good Causes organisation, which needs someone to help run it in the coming weeks.

Area organiser of Cards for Good Causes Marilyn Clarke said: “We have lots of volunteers who have already put their names down to staff the shop and we are expecting cards from 30 different charities.

“What we need now is a good organiser who can spare some time during November and December to make sure the shop opens and closes every day and everything runs smoothly.”

The shop will run at St Andrew’s Church from Tuesday next week until December 8.

Anyone interested in the role or helping in another capacity should call Marilyn Clarke on 01628 530 154.
