Spare four hours for young peo­ple

AD­VIZA is re­cruit­ing vol­un­teer in­de­pen­dent sup­port­ers to work with young peo­ple in Buck­ing­hamshire.

The char­ity is look­ing for in­spi­ra­tional in­di­vid­u­als who have a few hours each week to spare, and are keen to use their skills and ex­pe­ri­ence to help young peo­ple with spe­cial ed­u­ca­tional needs and their fam­i­lies.

In­de­pen­dent sup­port­ers work di­rectly with young peo­ple with spe­cial ed­u­ca­tional needs and dis­abil­i­ties and their par­ents go­ing through the new as­sess­ment for an Ed­u­ca­tion, Health and Care Plan. They pro­vide im­par­tial, in­de­pen­dent in­for­ma­tion, ad­vice and support.
