Fes­tive fair to raise hospice cash

IAIN Ren­nie Hospice at Home (IRHH) will be hold­ings its an­nual Christ­mas Fair at a new venue in Bea­cons­field next month.

The fair, which is or­gan­ised by the Bea­cons­field IRHH fundrais­ing group, has out­grown its last home and moves to The Bea­cons­field School in Wat­tle­ton Road on Satur­day, Novem­ber 15, from 10am to 3pm.

En­try is £1 for adults, in­clud­ing a cup of tea or cof­fee, while chil­dren go free.

This year there will be 40 stalls in­clud­ing 20 new ones. On of­fer will be stylish home ac­ces­sories, toys, kids’ cloth­ing, quirky pjs, unique fairy lights, cook­ware, cash­mere and al­paca cloth­ing, re­fur­bished fur­ni­ture, fash­ion, make-up plus all the favourites in­clud­ing cakes, pre­serves, jew­ellery, Christ­mas cards, books and much more.

Vanessa Daub­ney, one of the fundrais­ing com­mit­tee mem­bers, said: “We’ll have a café sell­ing soup, wraps, sand­wiches and drinks in­clud­ing mulled wine.

“Come and find the per­fect Christ­mas gift for all the fam­ily among the ex­cit­ing new stalls and support this mar­vel­lous, lo­cal char­ity.”

The Choco­latier, whose owner, Aneesh Popat, has won many awards in­clud­ing the True In­no­va­tion in Fine Choco­late Award 2014, will also be at the fair.

The Choco­latier sup­plies Miche­lin-star restau­rants and lux­ury ho­tels and is renowned for hand­crafted spe­cial­ist cho­co­lates, sculp­ture and art, and ex­cit­ing and ex­per­i­men­tal flavour com­bi­na­tions some of which will be fea­tured in the Food Hall.
