Festive fair to raise hospice cash
IAIN Rennie Hospice at Home (IRHH) will be holdings its annual Christmas Fair at a new venue in Beaconsfield next month.
The fair, which is organised by the Beaconsfield IRHH fundraising group, has outgrown its last home and moves to The Beaconsfield School in Wattleton Road on Saturday, November 15, from 10am to 3pm.
Entry is £1 for adults, including a cup of tea or coffee, while children go free.
This year there will be 40 stalls including 20 new ones. On offer will be stylish home accessories, toys, kids’ clothing, quirky pjs, unique fairy lights, cookware, cashmere and alpaca clothing, refurbished furniture, fashion, make-up plus all the favourites including cakes, preserves, jewellery, Christmas cards, books and much more.
Vanessa Daubney, one of the fundraising committee members, said: “We’ll have a café selling soup, wraps, sandwiches and drinks including mulled wine.
“Come and find the perfect Christmas gift for all the family among the exciting new stalls and support this marvellous, local charity.”
The Chocolatier, whose owner, Aneesh Popat, has won many awards including the True Innovation in Fine Chocolate Award 2014, will also be at the fair.
The Chocolatier supplies Michelin-star restaurants and luxury hotels and is renowned for handcrafted specialist chocolates, sculpture and art, and exciting and experimental flavour combinations some of which will be featured in the Food Hall.
