Volunteers pick their spot to clean up the environment
VOLUNTEERS spruced up a river as part of a working party.
Chesham Environment Group organised a party to clear-up the River Chess in Holloway Lane and Latimer Road.
Volunteers cut back vegetation along the river bank as well as litter picked the area at last month’s meeting.
The group organises two working parties a month and the next one will take place on Sunday, November 16 where volunteers will tackle the overgrown vegetation in the River Chess at Amersham Road allotments, next to the BP Garage. Litter picks and black bags will be provided. Volunteers will meet at 10am. Visit www.cheshamenvironmentalgroup. org.uk.
