Vol­un­teers pick their spot to clean up the en­vi­ron­ment

VOL­UN­TEERS spruced up a river as part of a work­ing party.

Che­sham En­vi­ron­ment Group or­gan­ised a party to clear-up the River Chess in Hol­loway Lane and La­timer Road.

Vol­un­teers cut back veg­e­ta­tion along the river bank as well as lit­ter picked the area at last month’s meet­ing.

The group or­gan­ises two work­ing par­ties a month and the next one will take place on Sun­day, Novem­ber 16 where vol­un­teers will tackle the over­grown veg­e­ta­tion in the River Chess at Amer­sham Road al­lot­ments, next to the BP Garage.
