Manor trip for church group
A CHURCH group switched a parish centre for a manor house.
The St Teresa’s, Beaconsfield St Vincent De Paul group took some of the regulars from the Coffee and Company morning on a trip to Waddesdon Manor.
The house was built in the Neo-Renaissance style of a French château between 1874 and 1889 for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild, and now is managed by the National Trust.
Kevin Broderick, a member of the group, said: “The weather was excellent so a tour of the gardens and aviary was made in the sunshine before the manor was explored.”
