Pudsey bear gives fund-raising pupils the thumbs up

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - SCHOOL REPORT -

YOUNGSTERS at a school were delighted when a special visitor paid them a surprise visit.

Children in Need mascot Pudsey went along to assembly at Maltman’s Green School in Gerrards Cross on Monday, November 3.

Girls at the school are set to take part in various events to raise money for the charity, and so Pudsey went along to show his gratitude.

Events to take place include a Children in Need mufti day with girls bringing in £1 to dress up in yellow and spots for the occasion, and a Pudsey-inspired toy bring and buy stall at the school’s Christmas Fair on Saturday, November 15.

The school’s marketing assistant Emily Mendleton said: “Maltman’s Green School is very pleased to be supporting this worthwhile charity which makes a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people all across the UK.”
