Charity fundraiser begins at new home
ACHRISTMAS fair raised money for a hospice charity at a new venue this year, writes Jo-Anne Rowney.
The Beaconsfield fundraising group for Iain Rennie Hospice at Home held its annual Christmas fair at Beaconsfield School, Wattleton Road, on Saturday.
There was a Christmas Grotto, children’s activities including making your own Christmas cards, a lucky dip and a Guess the Name competition to win tickets to see Cinderella at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre, starring Suzanne Shaw and Russell Grant.
Toys and children’s clothes were also on sale among the 40 stalls.
