Four honour player killed in war
FOUR members of a rugby club cycled to Belgium to remember a player who died 70 years ago in the Second World War.
The members of Amersham and Chiltern Rugby Club cycled from the club to Arnhem in Belgium.
They were commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Second World War battle where their club player Jack Grayburn was killed and received a posthumous Victoria Cross for his actions.
Club spokesman Andy Gillanders said: “The four between them raised over £7,000 for charities affiliated to the Parachute Regiment. A remarkable achievement.”
