Chilterns plan debate suspended by inspector
A PLANNING inspector has suspended the public examination of a plan which shapes the future of the Chilterns after asking the council to provide more detail.
Communities have been commenting on major housing developments and potential traveller sites earmarked in Chiltern District Council’s Delivery Development Plan Document (DDPD) since a public consultation began in February.
Representatives from the area were due to debate the DDPD this month, but this has been suspended for six months.
The planning inspector has asked the council to provide more evidence on housing need and on the delivery of housing sites.
