Look be­hind you – panto sea­son’s sneak­ing up!

ST PETER Play­ers prom­ise to get crowds laugh­ing, singing and maybe even danc­ing with their new panto.

Camelot the Panto! by Ben Crocker will show in Chal­font St Peter from Fri­day, De­cem­ber 5, and in­clude a signed per­for­mance for the first time in the group’s his­tory.

The story fol­lows Prince Arthur who woos his fu­ture bride Guin­e­vere. But a doc­u­ment ap­pears claim­ing that Guin­e­vere’s fa­ther promised her hand in mar­riage to Va­lerin the Vi­cious.

Va­lerin kid­naps Guin­e­vere and is helped by some hired goons, one of them in­vis­i­ble.

The evil sor­cer­ess Mor­gana en­gi­neers all the evil do­ings as Arthur races against time to save Guin­e­vere from be­com­ing wed to the wrong per­son.

The play is di­rected by Sarah Gold­ing and chore­og­ra­phy comes from Ge­orgina Kling, Steve El­e­ment and Leanne O’Reilly.

One of the mem­bers, Yvonne Roach, will help deaf peo­ple en­joy per­for­mance), 3.30pm and 7.30pm and Sun­day, De­cem­ber 7, at 3.30pm.

PRE­PARE for a pan­tomime with two ugly sis­ters that will do any­thing to get a man.

The Stoke Po­ges Play­ers are look­ing for­ward to this year’s pan­tomime, Cin­derella, which has two very ugly sis­ters.

The sis­ters bat­tle each other with their acid tongues and sharp wit and do their best to stop their step­sis­ter Cin­derella get­ting their man.
