Ice rink and a snow queen to enjoy
your hand at ice skating at a school’s Christmas fair this weekend. Chartridge School’s Christmas bazaar and ice rink event will take place on Saturday from 11am to 3pm.
The event’s main attraction is its 12 Days of Christmas ice rink that will have 30 minute slots available for the public to buy on the day.
As well as the ice rink the bazaar will have a host of attractions including a snow machine, bouncy castle, raffle, refreshments, Santa’s grotto and stalls.
Slots for the ice rink cost £5 for one or £8 for two. Go early to avoid disappointment.
5 included will be classes in how to prepare Christmas food, and demonstrations from chefs.
The event takes place at the Memorial Centre in East Common, and entrance will be £4 for adults, £3.50 for seniors, £1 for children and £9 for a family ticket.
HEAD to a Christmas festival and enjoy everything the season has to offer this Saturday. The Village Christmas Festival will take place in High Street, Great Missenden, from 3pm to 8pm, with free parking at the train station in Station Approach.
There will be food and drink including hog roast and barbecues.
Carol singers and jazz musicians will perform for the shoppers whom can also enjoy fair ground rides, a petting zoo and festive stalls.
Entry at the Roald Dahl Museum in High Street will be free on the day.
