Businesses in the Mix at festive charity fair

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - NEWS -

A THRIVING young entrepreneur held a festive fair to raise funds for charity.

Gemma Sisson, 24, of Marsham Way, Gerrards Cross, who runs homebaking business The Kitchen Mixer, held the fair along with nine other stallholders at her home address.

The Kitchen Mixer sells sweet treats and the other businesses included stalls for accessories, garden equipment and chutneys.

Miss Sisson said: “Things have progressed really well. Sales have doubled this year so fingers crossed they can triple for 2015. I am now supplying a deli in Chesham, Fisher Butchers in Gerrards Cross and a chocolate shop.

“For a small independent business that is still growing, I’m thrilled with how things are progressing and the customer feedback on the cakes and sweet treats is just an added bonus.”

The event raised £373 for Dementia Care.
