DI­VI­SION Two lead­ers Wy­combe Squash & Rack­et­ball Clubs seconds beat RAF 17-4 to main­tain their 100 per cent record in the Bucks Squash League

Their next fix­ture is against near­est chal­lengers, Holmer Green seconds, who beat Che­sham 1879 18-7 and now lead a pack of four teams within seven points, but are some way be­hind the lead­ers.

In Di­vi­sion Three, Wy­combe thirds beat Che­sham 1879 seconds 18-9 to leapfrog Wy­combe fourths into sec­ond place, nine be­hind Bea­cons­field Tro­jans, who did not play, while there was no ac­tion in Di­vi­sion One.

Mean­while, the UK Rack­et­ball Wy­combe Open took place on Satur­day with a dis­ap­point­ingly small en­try list, but in the A Grade, holder Ted Jeal of Kent beat El­liot Selby to re­tain his crown, with Chris Popham beat­ing Frazer Labron in an all-Wy­combe B Grade fi­nal.

Bris­tol had two win­ners in over-40 Ian Fudge and be­gin­ner Maryann Neudegg, while Paul Fen­nel of Wells beat Manuel Costa of Lis­bon to win the Over-50s ti­tle, with club­mate Zoe Mel­lis tak­ing the women’s ti­tle, and Sut­ton Colfield’s Richard Waller won the over-60s.
