Perfect start continues
DIVISION Two leaders Wycombe Squash & Racketball Clubs seconds beat RAF 17-4 to maintain their 100 per cent record in the Bucks Squash League
Their next fixture is against nearest challengers, Holmer Green seconds, who beat Chesham 1879 18-7 and now lead a pack of four teams within seven points, but are some way behind the leaders.
In Division Three, Wycombe thirds beat Chesham 1879 seconds 18-9 to leapfrog Wycombe fourths into second place, nine behind Beaconsfield Trojans, who did not play, while there was no action in Division One.
Meanwhile, the UK Racketball Wycombe Open took place on Saturday with a disappointingly small entry list, but in the A Grade, holder Ted Jeal of Kent beat Elliot Selby to retain his crown, with Chris Popham beating Frazer Labron in an all-Wycombe B Grade final.
Bristol had two winners in over-40 Ian Fudge and beginner Maryann Neudegg, while Paul Fennel of Wells beat Manuel Costa of Lisbon to win the Over-50s title, with clubmate Zoe Mellis taking the women’s title, and Sutton Colfield’s Richard Waller won the over-60s.
