SUPER SINGLES LEAGUE
RYAN Carroll has withdrawn from the Super Singles Darts League due to work commitments ahead of week seven.
With the league table readjusted, Pat O’Reilly found himself on top and it seemed the pressure got to him as he surprisingly fell to a 6-4 defeat against Mark Luckett.
That defeat of O’Reilly let in Steve McLeod, the two time league winner, who now tops the table with a 9-1 defeat of Mike McLeod, which included a 180.
Simon White and Blaine Jelly played out an enjoyable 5-5 draw and remain in mid table, while Dan Franzen produced his best darts of the season as he thumped John Beattie 7-3 and moves up to sixth, with both players hitting 180s.
Mick Carlton got back to winning ways with a close 6-4 win over Paul Woodbridge to climb to fifth, while Andy Long continues to impress after making it four wins and two draws to remain unbeaten, his latest triumph 8-2 over Steven Vaughan, including a 180, to stay third.
