Lighting up for the festive season
CINEMA goers will be able 1 to see two different films at Pinewood Studios this weekend. The studios in Iver Heath will be screening Serena, starring Jennifer Lawrence, and Ida, on Saturday and Sunday.
Serena tells the story of two newlyweds living in North Carolina during the Great Depression, and also stars Bradley Cooper, who featured with Jennifer Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle.
Ida is set in Poland in 1962 and is about a woman preparing to become a nun having been orphaned as a child but who ends up discovering about her family’s past after learning she is actually Jewish.
Serena will be shown at 4.30pm and 7pm on Saturday and 2.30pm and 7pm on the Sunday. Ida will be screened at 12.30pm and 2.30pm on Saturday and 12.30pm and 5pm on Sunday.

PEOPLE can do their 5 Christmas shopping at a farm’s Christmas fayre this weekend. Hazeldene Farm in Asheridge Road, Chesham, is holding the event on Sunday 10am to 3pm.
Local suppliers will have stalls selling items including handmade gifts, cards and produce as well as food and drink, art, crafts and beauty stalls.
