Enter a cracker of a competition at Hamptons
HAMPTONS International’s Gerrards Cross branch is launching its annual Christmas drawing competition, aimed at local nursery and primary school children.
The Draw a Christmas Cracker competition is open to all primary school children at Chalfont St Peter Academy.
Younger children are encouraged to participate in this festive competition by colouring in a Christmas cracker, while older primary school children can use their creative skills to draw and decorate a cracker of their own design.
All competition entries will be displayed in the local Hamptons International branch windows (34 & 36 Packhorse Road), for visitors to admire from early December through to the New Year.
The winners who will be announced before the end of the school term, will be awarded with a deluxe art kit.
Prize money of £200 will be donated to the winning school and nursery. The closing date for entries will be December 12, 2014.
The final judging process will be down to visitors to the Hamptons International branches who, until December 12, 2014, will be invited to vote for their favourite drawing.
Hamptons International would like to encourage members of the public to go to their local office to view the works and vote for the one they like best.
Andrew Riley, manager at Gerrards Cross Hamptons International, says: “The Hamptons Christmas drawing competition is a popular event and we are delighted to be holding it again this year.
“Working with the local community is important to us.
“This is the second year we have been involved with the Chalfont St. Peter Academy School, and we are pleased to be partnering them again.”
