Knitters giving homeless a warm winter welcome

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - NEWS -

KNITTERS joined forces to make blankets for homeless people this winter.

Group Knit and Natter attracted 19 people for its session at The Fitzwilliams Centre, in Windsor End, Beaconsfield.

Margot Suter, who knitted with the group on Thursday, November 27, said: “It seems the sessions have caused a lot of enthusiasm.

“It is a very relaxed couple of hours where you can be creative for charity.”

The blankets will go to Wycombe Homeless Connection while the next knitting session takes place at the same venue from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday, January 7.
