Knock-on effects of lights getting worse

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - OPINION -

WITH reference to Mr Erlick’s letter ( Why not just turn off lights at Tesco?, Advertiser, December 4), Tesco did indeed offer to help fund a new traffic scheme outside their store in Gerrards Cross and, as far as I am aware, their offer remains in force.

I can only imagine that everyone is still waiting to hear back from Bucks County Council, which is responsible for highways. The continued lack of feedback from the county council on this subject is exasperating.

The traffic chaos is getting worse – as are the knock-on effects being felt on Bull Lane and other side roads as cars and lorries avoid the centre of the village.
