Boys singing Hal­lelu­jah

SBoys from Thorpe House School out­side the Royal Al­bert Hall, where they were part of a choir of 1,000 chil­dren CHOOLCHILDREN had a busy week­end of cul­tural arts at the end of last month.

It be­gan with younger pupils at Thorpe House, in Ger­rards Cross, watch­ing the more se­nior boys re-en­act the story of Romeo and Juliet.

Then 19 boys were taken by choir direc­tors Kim Stal­labrass and El­lie White to the Royal Al­bert Hall to take part in a per­for­mance of Mes­siah.

Con­ducted by Suzi Digby OBE, they joined 1,000 chil­dren from more than 30 school and youth choirs, pro­fes­sional soloists and The English Fes­ti­val Orches­tra to sing Han­del’s master­piece.
