Record-breaking bazaar

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - SCHOOL REPORT -

FATHER Christmas paid a visit to a pre-school’s Christmas bazaar.

Sunshine Corner, in Stoke Poges, held the annual event on November 22 in the nearby Village Centre, Rogers Lane.

A record-breaking £1,600 was raised by stalls selling cakes, flowers, fabric wreaths and gift baskets, which will help the pre-school update their toys and garden area.

The main prize in the raffle was a £100 Amazon gift voucher, donated by sponsor Alpha Windows. Other prizes were donated by local businesses, such as Luna Rossa, Costa, and Stoke Park Hotel.

Kirsten Tarrier said on behalf of Sunshine Corner: “Despite the rainy weather, it was very well attended and everyone enjoyed listening to carols played by Beaconsfield Brass.”
