Scrap boosts char­i­ties

OF­FER: scheme CHAR­I­TIES are to ben­e­fit from cars be­ing scrapped.

El­liott Auto, in Berkham­sted, is hop­ing to raise £5,000 for dif­fer­ent lo­cal char­i­ties dur­ing the next year, in­clud­ing Re­store Hope in Che­sham, Hospice of St Fran­cis, and Hec­tor’s House, in Tring.

Peo­ple want­ing to scrap their car can go to El­liott Auto’s web­site and choose which of the three char­i­ties they would like to ben­e­fit

El­liott Auto is run­ning a char­ity car scrap­page from the scrap value of it, and can se­lect an amount to go to the char­ity.

Di­rec­tor Charles El­liott said: “We hope that ev­ery cus­tomer that would have scrapped their old car or van on­line with us be­fore will now have a chance to do­nate to one of the three lo­cal char­i­ties that we have cho­sen.”
