Vil­lagers en­joy a great night un­der lights

ACELEBRITY baker switched on the Christ­mas lights at a vil­lage’s Fun Night. Ger­rards Cross Christ­mas Fun Night be­gan with car­ols at the Guide Hut in Sta­tion Road fol­lowed by late night shop­ping on Wed­nes­day last week.

The lights were switched on by baker and TV pre­sen­ter Mich Turner, who ap­peared on ITV show Bri­tain’s Best Bak­ery, be­fore chil­dren from St Mary’s School and Ger­rards Cross CofE School led the crowds singing.

As well as late night shop­ping, in­di­vid­ual shops of­fered dif­fer­ent attractions and Fa­ther Christ­mas also made an ap­pear­ance.
