Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - SPORT -

Action from Beaconsfield against Wootton Bassett SIMON Tattersall scored his first try in Beaconsfield RFC colours to give them the lead on Saturday – but that was as good as it got.

Tattersall went over from close in following a Cal Wilkinson break, and Robbie Waldren converted before kicking a successful penalty after visitors Royal Wootton Bassett hit back with a try.

However, two tries and a penalty put the visitors 20-10 in front at the break, followed by two more penalties and two further tries after the break to take the game 38-10.

Beaconsfield remain ninth in the Southern Counties North table, one point and one place ahead of near-neighbours Drifters.

The Farnham Common side had only a pair of Matt Morgan penalties to show for their efforts as they went down 24-6 at home to Marlow on Saturday.
