PEO­PLE can fin­ish 1 their Christ­mas shop­ping at a char­ity’s sale event this week­end. Che­sham-based char­ity the Trevor Collins Foun­da­tion is hold­ing a sale ti­tled New and New to You at Che­sham Town Hall on Satur­day from 10am to 5pm.

There will be stalls sell­ing books, DVDs, cloth­ing, Christ­mas cards and more.

There will also be morn­ing cof­fees and af­ter­noon teas and a small in­door play area for chil­dren.

2 EN­JOY a clas­sic fes­tive tale brought to life on the stage this Satur­day. Sil­hou­ette The­atre Company presents A Christ­mas Carol by Charles Dick­ens at The Memo­rial Cen­tre in East Common, Ger­rards Cross.

The pro­duc­tion prom­ises to be full of greed, ghosts and hum­bug. Doors open at 4.30pm for a 5pm start.

Tick­ets are avail­able from the cen­tre and cost adults £5, chil­dren £3 and fam­ily tick­ets £15.

THERE is a messy church 5 Christ­in­gle event on Satur­day at 3pm at St John’s Methodist Church, Wood­side Road in Amer­sham. There will be food, crafts and mu­sic and ev­ery­one is wel­come.

Any­one can go along and join the group with the White Hart and the Sara­cen’s Head to sing in the Old Town.

FAM­I­LIES and friends can sing their hearts out at a carol ser­vice on Sun­day. St Paul’s Church in Horn Hill will host the ser­vice from 4pm to 5pm, fol­lowed by tea and mince pies.
