Misunderstood sending out important message
ABAND went along to a school to perform and raise awareness about the dangers of cyber bullying.
Misunderstood dropped into Chesham Grammar School, in White Hill, Chesham, on Thursday, December 11 as part of its online safety and cyber bullying themed school tour.
The band not only performed for the pupils, but they also delivered their online safety and cyber bullying educational message.
The main messages of the presentation were to be safe online, as well as to make the right decisions with regards to cyber bullying.
The school’s subject leader for ICT Vee Lakhani said: “I’m always looking for new opportunities to send an important message out to the students about how to stay safe while online.
“This re-visits what they’ve covered within their ICT/computing lessons.
“I was pleased to see that the students were very excited and that they felt they learned a lot from having Misunderstood perform.
“It was a fantastic experience.”
Misunderstood is a UK pop/R&B singing duo made-up of Stephan and Jeffrey.
They are graduates of the BRIT School of Performing Arts and they were part of dance troupe Myztikal who went on to reach the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2010.
Last year, Misunderstood was the opening act for US R&B group Boyz II Men at The O2, in London.
