Elderly have a roaring good Christmas
THE elderly living alone and people who are disabled got a Christmas treat this year.
The Beaconsfield Lions packed up and delivered parcels packed full of treats and food items for those who are alone or need a little help this Christmas.
The people on the list had been brought to the Lions’ attention via churches, or from recommendations.
About 100 people get a parcel each year.
The group packaged everything up at Alfriston School, in Penn Road, Beaconsfield, before dropping off the gifts to those in need.
