El­derly have a roar­ing good Christ­mas

THE el­derly liv­ing alone and peo­ple who are dis­abled got a Christ­mas treat this year.

The Bea­cons­field Lions packed up and de­liv­ered parcels packed full of treats and food items for those who are alone or need a lit­tle help this Christ­mas.

The peo­ple on the list had been brought to the Lions’ at­ten­tion via churches, or from rec­om­men­da­tions.

About 100 peo­ple get a par­cel each year.

The group pack­aged ev­ery­thing up at Al­fris­ton School, in Penn Road, Bea­cons­field, be­fore drop­ping off the gifts to those in need.
