Tree recycling opportunities

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - NEWS -

CHESHAM: People can get rid of their Christmas trees for free in an environmentally-friendly manner thanks to Chesham Town Council.

Real Christmas trees, not fake ones, can be disposed of at the hard standing in Moor Road, near Chesham Moor Gym and Swim, on Saturday, January 10 and Sunday, January 11.

The council’s parks and premises team will chip up the trees and the chippings will get a second life, being used on the open spaces around town, such as on the paths at the top of Lowndes Park.

This initiative has been popular in previous years and is in line with the council’s environmental policy.
