In need of special care
HERE are two of the dogs at the Chilterns Dog Rescue Society who are looking for new homes.
Most of the dogs we take in are very fit and healthy, but now and again we take in dogs that need some special care and attention.
Sandra is a five-yearold corgi sized dog with the most delightful nature. Some time before she came into rescue, Sandra sustained an injury to, or infection in, her left eye. Beyond any hope of having her sight restored, Sandra has just had surgery to remove her damaged eye and is recovering well. Staff at CDRS would love to see Sandra find the happy home she deserves.
Marley is a 13-yearold chihuahua. Marley has had a fairly restricted life and is now looking forward to a comfortable retirement with someone familiar with this highly intelligent small breed of dog. He is still very active for his years despite a heart murmur which does not require any treatmentment at this time. It would be amazing if the new year dawned with the offer of a new home for little Marley.
For more information on either of these two dogs, please call the society on 01296 623885.
