Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - NEWS -

A GROUP of pensioners booed the baddies and cheered the goodies when they went on an annual pantomime trip.

Vice-chairman of the Pond Park Community Association Councillor Derek Lacey organised a trip to The Elgiva’s pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk for the eighth year in a row.

About 40 elderly people from the area went to watch the show at the theatre in St Mary’s Way, Chesham, on New Year’s Eve.

As well as paying for their transport and tickets, the association also paid for a programme and ice cream for each attendee.

Mr Lacey said: “It was fantastic. They all loved it and said it was the best one they’ve seen.

“They were really happy and thanked me for doing it for the eighth year in a row.”
