Find­ing the best bites in Bucks

THE best food and drink in Buck­ing­hamshire will be recog­nised in a new award contest.

Buck­ing­hamshire Food and Drink Awards will be launched at Hor­wood House, Mil­ton Keynes, on Mon­day, Jan­uary 12.

The launch event will be held at the venue in Murs­ley Road, Lit­tle Hor­wood from mid­day to 1pm with com­ple­men­tary wine and canapes and the chance to net­work with busi­nesses from across the county.

Karen McGeeney, from Buck­ing­hamshire Food and Drink Awards, said: “In­dus­try fig­ures show the food and drink man­u­fac­tur­ing in­dus­try is the sin­gle largest man­u­fac­tur­ing sec­tor in the UK, with a turnover of £95.4bn.

“Ev­ery­one knows a range of bril­liant JOR­DANS: Jor­dans and Dis­trict Ro­tary is hop­ing to raise £5,000 this year for the Epilepsy cen­tre at Chal­font St Peter.
