Breathtaking stunts in show

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - OPINION -

BURNING water, a barbed wire crawl and world first ‘Hell Fire’ finish are just a few of the many obstacles to expect when internationally-renowned stunt performers, Gary Connery and Curtis Rivers, bring the extraordinary world of Hollywood film and TV stunts to the English countryside in March.

The inaugural Stunt Challenge, taking place in Buckinghamshire, will see participants tackle outrageous stunts and experiences – as seen in British-made films – over either a tough half marathon route or a shorter 10km course.

Connery, better known for his role as HRH The Queen parachuting into the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony, and Rivers, who played HRH Prince Philip in the show The Royal Bodyguard, will entertain spectators and participants at the two-day event by each attempting an individual stunt world record.

While the stunts are being kept highly secret until the day, participants and spectators alike are bound to be amazed.

The event takes place on March 7 and 8 and there are only 3,000 tickets available per day for either the half marathon or 10km option. Tickets are being sold at £99 each.

Spectator tickets are being sold at £5 each. To purchase tickets, visit www.stuntchal
