Go along and sing your heart out in choir

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - ONSHOW -

MEN! Are you keen to sing but afraid to try? Here’s your chance to try it out – without any embarrassment.

Wycombe Orpheus Male Voice Choir is looking for singers – tenors (high voices) and basses (lower voices) – and has invited men to attend its open evening on Wednesday, January 14 at Wesley Methodist Church at 7.30pm.

The event is a chance to find out more about your voice and decide if you would like to have a go at singing with the choir.

There is no audition on the evening, just come and sing.

Each person will be mentored by a member of the choir, and you don’t have to be able to read music.

The choir is open to anyone aged 19 to 90.

The Orpheus is one of the most respected amateur male voice choirs in the South of England.

In the past it has performed all over the country and internationally.

It has appeared at the Royal Albert Hall, The London Guildhall, Peterborough Cathedral, the London Mansion House – and even at the Miss World Gala Dinner.

Call chairman Vic Baker on 01844 690264.
