Fresh air and a spring clean

Chiltern Rangers at work on a re­cent con­ser­va­tion project YOUTH groups are col­lab­o­rat­ing spring­clean the Buck­ing­hamshire coun­try­side, eight and 18 can still vol­un­teer, say or­gan­is­ers Chiltern Rangers.

It is be­ing funded by a £22,000 grant from Bucs County Coun­cil Lo­cal Area Fo­rums and Lo­cal Com­mu­nity Part­ner-ships. This will pay for plan­ning and over­sight of the ses­sions and the equip­ment.

Bucks County Coun­cil’s cab­i­net mem­ber for com­mu­nity en­gage­ment Martin Phillips said: “I’m de­lighted we’re sup­port­ing this pro­gramme. We’re for­tu­nate to have so many young peo­ple in Buck­ing­hamshire who do some re­ally great things for the com­mu­nity.”

Bucks New Univer­sity’s Hindu So­ci­ety will start the project at Penn Wood on Satur­day.
