HI wine lovers! Staying on the ‘Dry January’ theme, we head to St Helena, Napa County, California.

Here we visit the Sutter Home Winery and will be tasting their Fre de-alcoholised Red Blend 2012.

Made from the Merlot grape, the look is deep, dark, dense, and ruby in colour.

On the nose, heady aromas of rich, ripe, jammy summer strawberries.

In the mouth, there is a good weight, flavours of plum and cherry fruits carry through to a soft, long, lingering fruit finish.

Drink on its own, or pair with salmon, turkey, chicken and ham dishes, as well as pasta and pizza.

Alcohol by volume is 0.5% and the price is £3.49 (exclusive to Waitrose).

A tad on the sweet side for my palette, but still a good entertaining tipple for your non-drinking drivers! Until next time, well done and keep going!
