Comic Watson’s flaw show

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - LIFE & LEISURE -

AWARD-WINNING comedian and novelist Mark Watson returns to the road for his new comedy show.

Mark will deliver his darkest, most personal, and what he hopes to be, his funniest show yet in High Wycombe on Sunday, February 8.

The comic has become a celebrated act at the Edinburgh Fringe after being nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2005 Perrier Comedy Awards. His other awards include the Time Out Critic’s Choice Award 2006 and a Barry Award nomination for best show at the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2006.

As well as being a familiar sight on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Mock The Week regular and cult Radio 4 series Mark Watson Makes The World Substantially Better, Mark is also renowned for his epic 24-hour comedy marathons.

His trademark self-deprecating sense of humour colours the deep reflections on life’s serious questions that he brushes on during shows. In this show he examines human character defects and the effects his own flaws have had on his life. People are advised to book early. The show takes place at Wycombe Swan in St Mary Street on Sunday, February 8 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £17 and can be booked by calling the box office on 01494 512 000.
